Real Madrid should be the next destination for Erling Haaland

“He [Haaland] is a great player, he's at a spectacular level, and he has an admirable physical strength. He's one of the best No.9s in the world and will define an era. I'm a bit more in favour of Haaland.”

That is what Luis Suarez told Gerard Romero in Twitch.

“The numbers speak for itself,” said Guardiola, with Haaland's 10 goals already in the Champions League, including four in the last-16 5-4 aggregate victory over Sevilla, coming at a rate of one goal every 53 minutes.

“Of course he is one of the best strikers in the world right now, at his age. I saw a few games, honestly, I didn't have much time but I saw the highlights, and the numbers in the Champions League and the league is impressive. I know the quality of this player. Everybody knows.”

At the moment, Haaland is a sensation across the globe and people are expecting him to carry on the legacy created by Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in the last ten years or more.

Haaland’s hunger for goals, immense energy, strong physique, and outstanding fitness level make him a complete package. He is not only blessed with outstanding positional sense but at the same time, he can create opportunities out of nowhere. He is the heart and soul of Borussia Dortmund, who are struggling in their attempts to secure Champions League qualification.

They're falling away as the season progresses, and their chances of finishing in the top four are looking increasingly slim. They're currently fifth in the Bundesliga, four points behind fourth-placed Eintracht Frankfurt, whom they face next.

There are eight rounds of fixtures left in Germany, giving Dortmund eight more chances to get things right and push for the Champions League places.

They'll face RB Leipzig (2nd), Wolfsburg (3rd) and Eintracht (4th). Then, they would face five sides of which they only beat one in the first half of the season.

While in the Champions League, Manchester City would be waiting for them – especially Haaland.

Dortmund are a wonderful club for nurturing the kids of tomorrow and they have been immensely successful and grooming some of the best players in the world at the moment – Haaland is no different. His move from RB Salzburg was understandable, but ultimately, Dortmund cannot be the final destination for the wonder kid from Norway.

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, and others are all keeping tabs on Haaland, despite Dortmund's insistence that the Norwegian is staying at the club. But, even Dortmund know very well that they cannot keep Haaland for long and his final destination would either be in Spain or Premier League in England or one cannot write-off the possibility of a move to Bayern Munich.

If one thinks even deeper, for a talent like Haaland, Real Madrid would be the ideal destination. There is no need to describe what kind of club Real Madrid is and how good it is for the champions of the future. One witnessed the ultimate rise of Cristiano Ronaldo in Real Madrid and still witnessing the brilliance of Karim Benzema, Luka Modric, Casemiro, Toni Kroos, Marcelo, and Raphael Varane.

Meanwhile, Rodrygo Goes, Vinicius Junior, Fede Valverde, and Marco Asensio are flourishing gradually. Thus, to reach the sky and rule the world, there cannot be a better club than Real Madrid.

Real Madrid would suit the character and goal-hunger of Haaland and his superstar-like appeal.

In Real Madrid, he would be the perfect torch-bearer of the great Cristiano Ronaldo.

The President of Real Madrid – Florentino Perez must not let Haaland slip out of his hand.
