The USA lost 18 of their last 19 matches - but against Brazil, they salvaged a draw. Brazil was expected to end up with a victory before Copa America but their performance was below par.
Dorival Junior went back to 4-2-2-2 with Vinicius Junior and
Rafinha operating as two potential goal scorers.
Vini operates better as a left winger and not as a central
striker while Rafinha hasn't yet cut a satisfactory figure in a yellow shirt.
Rodrygo Goes on the right will suit better and in the
midfield - a genuine playmaker should operate just behind a hitman and the
hitman for Brazil is Endrick.
Paqueta plays better as the central midfielder rather than
the attacking one.
In the central midfield playing Joao Gomez totally
disorganises the central park - his poor control over the ball lets the
opposition to the counter and the defence comes under pressure consistently.
Next up is Copa America - Colombia, Costa Rica and Paraguay
will join Brazil in the group stage.
If the performance remains average to below par - qualifying for the next round will be a stifling task.
