The Test match has not ended within two days. There will be a day 3. Australia’s reply in the second innings was solid, but all of a sudden they imploded.
Ben Stokes dismissed Chris Rogers and in the twinkle of an eye Australia lost four wickets for just 23 runs. Australia’s number three, four and five were dismissed cheaply and the thoughts of a fight back started to ebb away.
Australia’s humiliating defeat is just a matter of time. If England can gift Australia an innings defeat then it will be their 100th win by an innings in Test cricket. England deserves such an achievement.
