India v New Zealand, 2nd Test, Kolkata, Day 4 - Yet another spineless batting display by New Zealand

1995, 1999, 2003, 2010 and 2012 were the years when I watched New Zealand tour India. India were the winners in these years, but one thing was evident among the Kiwis and which was their fighting spirit during the Test series and at times, the Kiwis gave the Indians a scare with limited resources.

Surprisingly, on this tour, so far, New Zealand were a team without a backbone. This team is way better than 1995, 2003, 2010 and 2012, but still, the Kiwis played as if they have come here to maintain a formality. Especially, their batsmen were poor and surrendered meekly.  

I expected this series to be a competitive one, but it proved to be a damp squib. Courtesy, New Zealand’s poor batting display.
