All the best Silvio Berlusconi, let the hey days of A.C. Milan return again

After being released from hospital on Tuesday following recent heart problems, A.C. Milan President Silvio Berlusconi announced he will sell the club to Chinese investors.

He said, “I had a period of 26 [good] years [at the club] which then became 30. My concern is that during the last four years, I have not managed to do things as I did in the past.

The choice I am making is an important one. I want to deliver A.C. Milan to people who can make the club a major force again, not only in Italy, but in Europe and the world.

There is a commitment from the new investors to pay €400 million over the next two years and I’m selling the club to people who can bring it back to where it belongs.”

I wanted to close out a 30-year period with victory, but we have still managed to win 28 trophies during that time and fans of the club have increased massively in numbers”.

Silvio had given A.C. Milan a lot, but the ending was not the way we expected. But his words have been quite optimistic and being a follower of A.C. Milan, I feel encouraged. Europe and the world football need A.C. Milan to bounce back. I don’t feel the passion and excitement while I root for Real Madrid. Real have always been my second choice whereas, I am a fan of A.C. Milan since the days of Paolo Maldini, Franco Baresi, Ruud Gullit and Marco Van Basten. I have seen A.C. Milan to rule the world and I badly want them to come back and rekindle the glorious past.

Thank You
