Bangladesh v South Africa, 2nd ODI - Brilliant Bangladesh, hats-off Nazmul Hassan!

I just wish to see the faces of those critics who were criticizing Nazmul Hassan’s initiative of talking with our cricketers yesterday. In my opinion, today’s brilliant victory has been the result of yesterday’s inspiring meeting with the Bangladesh Cricket Board chief. Yes, it was an inspiring one for sure as it motivated the players immensely and helped them to bring their focus back.

Shun the habit of criticizing the BCB for everything. Bangladesh is extremely lucky to have Nazmul Hassan as the BCB chief.

I enjoyed the bowling display of Bangladesh today. It was full of aggressive intent and such an attitude is much needed when you are playing against a team like South Africa. Bangladesh’s reply was shaky and Soumya’s Twenty20 style of play made him look vulnerable at the start. But later on he realized the value of keeping the ball on the ground and when he keeps the ball on the ground, he’s a treat to watch. At the other end, Mahmudullah provided the perfect foil to Soumya’s controlled aggression. Mahmudullah should bat at number four permanently.

Bangladesh have proved that they are capable of bouncing back when it matters the most. Certainly, Bangladesh’s temperament had improved a lot.

Thank You
