First of all, let me congratulate Barcelona for winning the
La Liga title this season. They went through a lean patch for a transient
period, but throughout the season, they had been the best team. Luis Suarez had
been their best performer and without a doubt, he is one of the finest strikers
in the modern era. His sense of position and the ability to convert half-chances
into full make him one of the most feared customers in the modern era. I might
not be one of his fans, but I can’t deny the fact that Suarez is a gem of a
striker.
Secondly, Being a supporter of Real Madrid, I am not upset
at all. At the start of the season, Real were a hapless unit, but as soon as
Zinedine Zidane was appointed as the
coach, the Los Blancos started to rediscover themselves. Their midfield looked more
organized and creative and the fighting intent was evident. On a positive note,
in this season, Real came back on track and I hope they will improve more in
the next season to satisfy their fans and critics. But, above all, they must
not let Zidane go and shun whims as much as possible.
Thirdly, Sony should never be given the rights to telecast major soccer leagues and tournaments. It’s a shame, they ignored La Liga matches for the sake of a bullshit Twenty20 League. Frankly speaking, Sony entertainment has never been one of my favorite as a sports broadcaster. They are better only for entertainment.
Thank You
