Even if you're trailing by a huge margin in a heavyweight
Test series, you should always be looking to attack on a fresh day. The first
session of a Test is very important, but the South African bowlers bowled short
which leaked a lot of runs.
I failed to understand why Faf du Plessis underbowled Kagiso
Rabada when he was seen to bowl with a lot of rhythm and extracting reverse
swing. KG should've been given more overs to bowl - 7 to 8 overs spell at least
in two occasions by lessening the overs of Morne Mrokel.
Steve Smith was yet again dismissed by a half tracker. Well,
cricket is such a surprising game. Bad balls become so valuable.
But, whatever I've seen of Smith, he's more of a hand-eye
coordination batsman. If you can hamper that, you might have the edge over
mighty Smith.
Thank You
