I think it's not fair to criticise David Warner alone. One
should also ask himself the question of why Warner reacted such a way.
According to Steve Smith, "Quinton got personal and evoked an emotional
response from Davey. Those things are not on from both sides. Getting personal
on the field is crossing the line in my opinion".
There are many ways to play the game of mental intimidation,
but by getting personal is never the ideal way. If QDK provoked by means of
personal-attack, it was not appreciative as well.
The Australians play their cricket hard and they are always
a bunch of aggressive boys on the field. We are pretty used to this Australia,
but Warner's reaction was not their professional-hostility - it was more than
that. And a person does such when someone unleash personal attacks.
It takes two to make a quarrel.
