Real Madrid are in the quarterfinals of the Champions
League, but in my opinion, Real’s performance was not satisfactory last night.
If they wish to win this year’s Champions League then, I think, they need to
improve a lot. I shall like to say, it was not Roma’s night rather than Real
Madrid’s brilliant display. Real just were able to weather the storm well in
the first hour of play. That’s all.
I loved the way Roma pressed high up the pitch, put Real on the back foot and created brilliant chances, but sadly, they could not utilize any of them. Had Roma went ahead earlier, it would have been tough for Real to come back. Real should be thankful to Keylor Navas who kept the scores level until Real scored the first goal. Cristiano Ronaldo and James Rodriguez struck gold, but the absence of that cutting edge could not satisfy me.
Thank You
