FC Barcelona v Villarreal, La Liga 2015-16 - Villarreal halts Barcelona's winning run

Barcelona looks invincible as because they have three of the most versatile players at the top, but if an opposition exhibits enough determination, even the best side in the world can be found wanting. Without a doubt, I was heavily impressed with Villarreal’s display yesterday. They had been impressive throughout the 90 minutes and even had the opportunity to win the match. They have a player named Denis Suraez who ran throughout the pitch with pace and astonishing energy and it was his shot that led to a tap-in for Cedric Bokambu to score the first goal for Villarreal.

Barcelona’s drop points at Villarreal will not matter for them as they are well set to win this year’s La Liga, but if I am not wrong, loopholes have started to get noticed in this Barcelona side. They are vulnerable against counterattacks and there is fragility at the back.
