Sri Lanka v Australia, 2nd Test, Galle, Day 2 - Australia's pathetic batting display

Australia’s batting display was horrifying on the second day. The Galle track is not a square-turner, but it required more application to fetch runs. But the Australian batsmen’s brain exploded and succumbed to Rangana Herath and Dilruwan Perera’s spin bowling. Herath became the oldest Test cricketer to bag a hat-trick as the Aussies were bundled out for 106 and discovered themselves in a similar position in their second innings as well. At stumps they are 25 for 3 and need another 388 runs to win this Test match. It looks an impossible task and Sri Lanka’s victory is just a matter of time.
