How would you rate this man as a 50-over format batsman? No 360-degree, no adventurous innovations and no over-use of cross-batted shots, but superbly timed strokes dominated his batsmanship in all forms of the game and look at the result.
I'm not against innovations and innovative strokes, but batting in limited overs cricket is not all about this 360-degree shots. The modern generation of fans and experts should realise this.
