You can never dare to
write off teams like Germany and Italy and for which, after Brazil, these two
teams are one of my most favorites all the time. While Belgium relied on talent
and hype, Antonio Conte relied on his underrated and much-criticized squad,
tactical approach and team unity.
Yes, team unity. When a squad is united and ready to fight
against all the odds, they outclass even the best teams in the world. And the
Italians just bring out their best when they are criticized and written off by
all. Well played Italy. You have made my day.
